Quality
Credentialing network providers is a critical business process for DenteMax; it ensures our network dentists
have been carefully screened and meet or exceed quality standards designed to ensure members receive the highest
quality and most appropriate dental care.
Dentists in the DenteMax Medicare network meet the same extensive requirements as do our commercial network dentists. While there are no set Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidelines for dental networks, DenteMax, as usual, has gone the extra mile and applied relevant CMS requirements for medical doctors to the dentists in our network.
In addition we credential all of our network dentists with a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) certified Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) vendor. We credential each new provider prior to adding them to the network and then re-credential existing network dentists on a routine basis, every 36 months.
