Melissa Wagner, Vice President, Sales and Service
Melissa Wagner is a veteran in the dental benefits industry, bringing more than 25 years of extensive dental industry knowledge to DenteMax. She began her career in dental office management and has excelled in member services, new business development and account management. As a result of her experience, Melissa is able to understand the dental industry from three important perspectives: the dental provider, the administrator, and the dental network manager.
During her tenure as Vice President, Melissa has helped existing client partners develop programs to retain and grow their dental business. She has also established new and innovative client partner relationships that result in strong revenue retention and growth opportunities.
Melissa has customized DenteMax’s approach to both sales and service by developing a focus on market segments. She led her team to provide customized solutions for client partners based on their specific needs including network recruitment strategies that ensure dental claims savings for the member, group and administrator. This has contributed to DenteMax being recognized in all business segments as the largest leasable dental PPO network in the country.
J. David Hetrick, Business Development Executive
David Hetrick has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is well known for his successful business development strategies and leadership. David has held management roles as Chief Operating Officer at DenteMax, Senior Planning Analyst and later Product Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and as Corporate Sales Manager at Heath-Zenith Computers.
In his current role as Business Development Executive, David has had great success increasing key segment revenue by 600 percent in three years and contributing 75 percent of new corporate revenue. His current success in business development fits well with his passion to develop and implement key product and process enhancements and to anticipate and respond to market demands.
David received his bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan, along with his Master of Health Service Administration and Master of Business Administration.

Dee Palmer, Manager of Network Leasing Sales
Prior to joining DenteMax as Manager of Network Leasing Sales, Dee Palmer helped drive the company’s achievements as a sales consultant.
Dee has more than 30 years experience in the health care industry. She has worked in sales for 15 of those years as agent sales coordinator, account executive and sales manager. From her vast experience, Dee has developed a sales philosophy based on partnering and supporting transitions. She believes sales is about serving the client and finding solutions to challenges. Dee enjoys the challenges and sees them as an opportunity to exceed customers’ needs in the ever changing market demands.
Dee is instrumental in strengthening relationships. Her many accomplishments include numerous awards for her leadership skills and her consistent ability to achieve set goals.
Dee’s professional accreditations include area leadership programs, the National Management Association, Business Women’s Alliance Group and previous volunteer efforts as an area United Way committee member.
Amy Foster-Centers, New Business Development Manager
Amy Centers has more than 15 years of sales experience, with the majority of her experience in the healthcare industry. She is well known for her enthusiasm, reliability and her team player attitude. She has held a variety of roles in sales, working her way through the ranks of DenteMax. During this time she has received numerous awards for her commendable work.
Amy has always had a passion for sales and solutions. We credit her with personally forging relationships with the majority of the company’s client partners, and initiating the relationship that led to the first network conversion in DenteMax history. Amy has brought more than 100 client partners on board with DenteMax.
Heather Schiappacasse, Senior Account Manager
Heather Schiappacasse has more than 15 years of sales and promotions experience. She loves meeting and talking with people to determine their needs and the best possible way to assist them.
Heather has worked her way through the ranks of several organizations. When she first arrived at DenteMax, she launched a project to update the sales database, improving the entire system. During her time at DenteMax she has received several awards in recognition of exemplary service to internal and external customers.
Sandie Kowalski, Account Manager
As an account manager Sandie has extensive knowledge of the DenteMax network. Prior to joining the sales and marketing department, Sandie held a management role in provider relations and customer service. Sandie joined our network leasing sales team to lend her expertise in launching new network products."
As an account manager, Sandie is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable resource you can count on. She has more than 20 years of experience in management. Her enthusiasm and determination for finding solutions are qualities that you, as a client partner, will be sure to appreciate.
Adam Wenker, Senior Account Manager
As a prior DenteMax senior marketing analyst, Adam Wenker has become an integral part of the Sales Team. Not only does he have a thorough understanding of our dental sales tools, he has created and contributed to the majority of these valuable resources. You’ll find Adam is well acquainted with the business challenges dental plans face today. Adam has the knowledge and understanding of the sales tools and information you'll need to help you grow your dental business.
Adam is a University of Michigan graduate with a dual bachelor's degree in marketing and management. He has worked in health care, TPA services, life insurance, banking and retail.
Jackie Lundin, Senior Account Manager
Jackie Lundin is known for her commitment to quality and dedication to service. As a senior account manager, Jackie supports client partners who offer Medicare plans with dental benefits.
Jackie brings extensive knowledge to her client partners. Prior to her current role with the sales team, Jackie supported expansion of DenteMax network product offerings. As a senior marketing analyst, Jackie led the implementation of new network solutions and streamlined DenteMax's reporting portfolio. She's been a cornerstone for ensuring partnerships with large clients run smoothly.
Jackie holds a MBA in Management and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She also holds Six Sigma Black Belt status and is Project Management certified. Jackie enjoys running marathons and teaching college courses.
James Thomas, Sales Executive
James Thomas comes to our sales team from the network development area of DenteMax. He has a unique and in-depth understanding of the DenteMax network. His experience here includes provider fee schedule development and network development, in addition to account implementation and support. James has contributed heavily to the advancement and increased network size as an ongoing top performer.
James has a background in business and technology. His interests include design, history, archaeology, drawing, inventions and exploration.
