Important information regarding claims submissions and payments:
The clock is ticking toward the compliance date for dentists and health
plans to begin using new National Provider Identifier (NPI) for claims
submissions and payments. DenteMax
is in the process of collecting NPIs from ALL of our participating providers
and while we have received NPIs from some of our participating dentists,
we are still waiting to hear from many of you. It is critically important
that if you have not registered for an NPI, you do so immediately and then
provide DenteMax with your number. In turn, DenteMax will provide this
information on your behalf to the health plans who use our network for their
members. This will ensure that when each health plan begins mandating the
use of NPI for claims submission and payment, your claims will not be adversely
impacted.

www.NPIHelp.com. The site will provide you with answers to frequently asked
questions, a link to the organization responsible for
assigning your NPI, and instructions to electronically submit your NPI
to DenteMax once you have received your assigned number.
